Bring your climbing gear, because this week we go deep! In the training we do, and in many other aspects of life as well, we all have to deal with barriers and creating bridges. Sometimes it’s physical, sometimes it’s all in our heads ultimately. The guys get personal this week and talk about some of their personal challenges, and they relate them to training as well as other parts of life. If Luke had said “I’m just a poor farmboy, I can’t do what you’re asking of me” then it would have been a real short franchise!
Spring forward with us as this week the guys discuss upcoming SDS activity through the rest of spring. We have several tournaments, demos, and other exciting activities planned. Listen in and find out where you can find us in the area over the next few months!
This week, Robert, Eric, and Steve catch you (and Robert) up on all the Star Wars news from the last couple months.
It’s another NSFW episode of “I Have A Bad Feeling About This”! Doug, Marina, and Loring sit down and have some “real talk” about characters in the Star Wars movies which were disappointing, and which were pleasantly surprising.
San Diego Sabers Radio Podcast Episode 61 "Rapid Fire Deathmatch" - this week, we have 4 RFDM's on-deck for you. These magnificent bouts were brought to us by the illustrious Matthew Salvatore (@Salvatore_Chief on Twitter).
Eric recently spent a series of training sessions talking to the group about the difference between Flailers, Fighters, and Duelists. On this weeks’s show he shares the differences and approaches on these types of people.
What if, in Empire Strikes Back, Luke had said “Yes!” and joined Darth Vader to rule the galaxy as father and son?
"Wolves and a Door" and "A World Between Worlds" gives us a LOT to think about. In this post, I explore just a couple of them. Let go your fear.
This is an episode we’ve wanted to do for a while. What are your options when you really want to learn lightsaber combat, but you don’t have an Eric (our Battlemaster) around to learn from? How do you learn when all you have is YouTube? This week we bring on Kaden Stetler from the Rebel Chatter podcast and Rebel Cause Lancaster (PA) to talk with Eric about his process in starting to learn lightsaber combat on his own. Eric gives Kaden some advise on things to think about and focus on. Good things to know for anyone just starting out!
That's not just how we feel, but that's the name of our new show!
